Why make your own marinara right? It’s usually cheap, and already pre made. Well, this is only half true. I started making my own spaghetti sauce when I decided to cut out as much added processed sugars as I could. Shockingly, almost ALL pre made marinara has sugar in it! The question I wanted to know is …why? Tomatoes are already so sweet. It made no sense to me. From there I also learned how expensive store bought marinara was that was not only organic, but didn’t contain any added sugars. I’m talking over 5 dollars for one jar! So, in that reality I decided to just start making my own. Now it is something I make frequently, and 99% of the time, have everything I need to make it. And, if you don’t have some already, I suggest you invest in some Pizza Seasoning! I got this kind shown above at TJ Maxx and it is my new favorite spice. I use it in my sauces, on top of my eggs; in soups… anywhere I can find a place for it really. Easy Homemade Marinara
